We are Looking for a Serious Long-term Remote Accountant

This is a long-term opportunity, for an accountant to grow along with very promising growth, compensation, and an exciting career path. We are a startup public accounting firm, with all the tools and marketing programs required for growing the practice in a niche area, and will provide adequate opportunity, resources, and support for growing talents who are independents, self-starters, and highly motivated individuals.

Accountant Job Duties:

1. Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
2. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general
ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
3. Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting
control procedures.
4. Analyze and review budgets.
5. Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
6. Prepare and review the budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, payroll, and other
accounting documents.
7. Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and
ensure expenditure control.
8. Resolve accounting discrepancies.
9. Recommend, develop and maintain financial databases, computer software systems and
manual filing systems.
10. Input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.

Accountant Skills and Qualifications:

1. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent CPA
2. More than a year experience in general accounting
3. You must have Accounting, Research Skills, Analyzing Information, Attention to Detail, Deadline-Oriented, Proactive, Confidentiality, Thoroughness, Corporate Finance, Financial Software (Expert knowledge with Quickbooks is a MUST, while a background in other accounting software a plus), and Commitment.

This is a Full-Time Position. This is home-based, so a high-speed DSL or fiber internet is required with a minimum of 3MBPs. We offer competitive rates for qualified candidates.
