Role and Responsibilities

Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in MM module. Should have experience in S/4 Hana.

• Good skills in configuring Material Master, Purchase Requisition (PR), Request for quotation,

Purchase Order (PO), Agreements, Info records, Release Procedures, Pricing, Automatic Account determination, Inventory Management, Reservation, Transfer Posting, Stock Transfer and Physical Inventory process, valuation and batch management, split valuation etc.

• Good knowledge of different procurement processes like direct, indirect, third party, subcontracting, stock transport orders, stock transfers, account assigned POs, asset procurement, consignment etc.,

• Should have good master data management skills including developing and working with data migration tools.

• Should have configuration knowledge of CIN tax requirements

• Should be able to write functional specifications in detail.

• Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and provide expertise into the definition and resolution of issues in this area with this knowledge

• Conducts or participates in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.

• Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.

• Ensure the integrity of the MM & WM configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.

• Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests.

• Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.

• Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modelling.

• Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.

• Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.

• Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.

• Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.

• Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing

• Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing
Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with Domain Experience in Materials Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Procurement

Preferred Skills

• 2 to 4 years of SAP MM configuration with minimum one End-to-End Implementations and at least three Support Projects

• Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Should work in a team and be energetic

• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

• Reading and understanding of ABAP code; nice to have
