Responsible for developing electronic related innovative products/processes from the initial concept through the Innovation Process and Innovation Stage Gates, including: design, validation, prototyping, testing/QA, and evaluation of the proposed production process and business case.
Responsible for proving the targeted technology and creating risk assessments to ensure the team is aware of the implications of developing the innovative product.
Collaborate with IoT partners to develop smart connected products.
Collaborate with the electronics suppliers to develop prototype and production unit. Actively communicate with the suppliers to track progress and support all technical aspects.
Use Project Management best practices to plan all electronic-related innovation development activities with the Innovation Team, cross functional/divisional team(s) that are necessary to create the concept (including the creation of a detailed project master schedule and scopes), in close collaboration with the engineering manager. Provide regular project updates, status reports and technical reports as required.
