Job Description

Seeking an English Language Trainer for IELTS and Spoken English who also assists with creative writing for Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and cover letters for visa applications plays a dual role in both language instruction and personalized document preparation.

Job Responsibilities:

• IELTS and Spoken English Training
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for IELTS preparation, focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking modules.
Develop interactive lesson plans to enhance spoken English skills, with activities for vocabulary building, pronunciation, grammar, and fluency.
Monitor students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and design personalized strategies to help students improve scores and language proficiency.
Conduct mock tests and practice sessions to help students familiarize themselves with the IELTS exam format and timing.

• SOP and Cover Letter Writing
Assist students in crafting personalized, creative, and compelling Statements of Purpose (SOPs) and cover letters tailored for visa applications.
Conduct consultations to understand each client’s academic and career goals, guiding them on how best to present their achievements, aspirations, and motivations.
Ensure that SOPs and cover letters are grammatically accurate, well-structured, and aligned with the requirements of target institutions or visa consulates.
Provide editing and feedback to enhance clarity, coherence, and impact of each document.

• Content Creation and Curriculum Development
Develop training materials, worksheets, practice exercises, and assessment tools for IELTS and spoken English courses.
Create SOP and cover letter templates and guides to streamline the writing process for clients.
Stay updated on the latest IELTS exam formats, spoken English teaching techniques, and visa requirements to provide accurate and current information to students.

• Student Counselling and Support
Offer guidance and moral support to students, helping them manage test anxiety and improve confidence in English communication.
Conduct regular follow-up sessions to track student progress and make adjustments to training methods as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Communication, or a related field.
Certification in TEFL/TESOL or experience with IELTS training is highly preferred.
Proven experience (1-3 years) in teaching English or IELTS preparation.
Strong writing skills, with experience in SOP, resume, or professional document writing.
Excellent communication skills, patience, and a student-focused approach.

Skills:

Deep knowledge of IELTS exam format and effective teaching strategies.
Proficiency in English grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing techniques.
Strong interpersonal skills to mentor, motivate, and provide constructive feedback.
Familiarity with MS Office and other tools for content creation and student assessment.
