Position Title: Senior Solution Architect (IBS011)

Job Description

Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical blueprint of the teams services in the distribution air and package domain. Research, select, prototype, implement, and evaluate progress of architecture and design solutions. Create solution options that align IT services with clients business missions, goals and objectives. Review and recommend selection of third-party software platforms. Perform architectural, technical and performance evaluation of features. Assist the team in following software development and management methodologies. Responsible for review, approval and merging of code changes into repositories. Ensure that APIs build follows business standards. Guide the team to test automated business scenarios of the distribution air/package business. Participate in cloud migration and deployment of air and packages host in Amazon Web Services environments. Collect real time performance data and improve performance. Track sprint task board, identify road blocks and resolutions. Define stories for a feature. Ensure that the team understands the standard development practices and API development for multiple partners or point of sales. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requires Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (Any), Information Technology, Computer Applications or related field plus one (1) year of experience in the iob offered or a related IT or engineering role. Requires one (1) year of experience in the following: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring, and Hibernate in the development of core applications; Rest or SOAP Web Services in the creation of external interfaces for applications or to connect to third party services; TestNG or Spring Test for unit testing and integration testing of applications; Maven or Gradle to package applications for deployment; Amazon Web Services (AWS) to manage cloud based applications; and Agile methodology. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role in lieu of a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
