Job Description

 ·         Practical experience not less than 20+ years in managing supervisory control centers of electrical networks or electrical systems.

·         Practical experience in systems of supervising and operating electrical systems (EMS) used in supervisory control centers and dealing with systems (SCADA) or centers of supervising and operating electrical distribution systems (DMS), in addition to the ability to deal with PC applications and Microsoft Office software.

·         Developing the proper operational plans and ability to facing crises and contingencies to ensure smooth flow of work and preparing technical reports for managing crises.

·         Full knowledge of job requirements and calculations related to operating electrical networks efficiently, executing projects and preparing the required technical reports.

·         Preparing the studies, providing consultations aiming at operating the electrical networks efficiently and developing the necessary technical reports.

·         Employing the acquired technical and administrative expertise and coordinating with the concerned authorities inside and outside the Sector to execute the required tasks as soon as practicable.

·         Submitting business development recommendations, quality management, and advancement of performance level at the Department and preparing the necessary periodical reports.

·         Continuous follow-up and familiarization with developments and updates of the Sector's specialized scope, preparing the necessary reports and summaries and submitting them to the Department.

·         Practical expertise in developing technical specifications for control and operation systems of supervisory control centers.

·         Having expertise and full knowledge of designing using engineering and PC software.

·         Preparing the technical reports and scientific analysis using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Total Quality Management (TQM).

·         Supervising development of studies and technical specifications related to projects and programs executed and developed by the Sector.

·         Training the Department's engineers and transferring technical expertise to them, in order to be qualified to perform their tasks.

·         Performing all tasks assigned by the Department.

·         Skills of using PC in the scope of work.

·         Preferably Arabic speaking.

·         Full command of English (reading, writing and speaking).
