Job Description
The accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of financial principles and practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Billing and Documentation
? Generate and maintain purchase bills.
? Create accurate sales invoices in a timely manner.
? Ensure proper filing and documentation of all bills.
2. Tally Accounting
? Record payments, receipts, and vouchers in Tally ERP.
? Maintain proper ledger accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
? Manage journal entries and day-to-day financial transactions.
3. Petty Cash Management
? Maintain petty cash records and ensure accurate disbursement.
? Submit periodic petty cash statements for review.
4. Stock and Order Management
? Update product stock levels in coordination with the warehouse.
? Process internal orders and keep track of stock movement.
5. Logistics Coordination
? Coordinate with logistics for vehicle dispatch and delivery follow-ups.
? Assist in maintaining records related to vehicle movements.
6. Compliance & Reporting
? Generate E-Way Bills and E-Invoices as per GST regulations.
? Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely submission of statutory documents
