Job Description
The Asst. Operations Manager is responsible for efficient management of all production operations, production plans and strategies, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all factories. This role requires a proactive individual with strong critical thinking, crisis management and problem-solving skills to optimize costs and ensure zero defects in production. And Asst. Operations Manager overseeing the overall factory and Production, Material, Sales Support departments
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure efficient production planning and execution
2. Production efficiency and quality
3. Efficient Inventory management
4. Ensure efficient material procurement and management
5. Ensure prompt sales support and order fulfilment: Collaborate with sales teams to develop accurate sales forecasts, ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders, and provide excellent customer service.
6. Safety, Compliance, and Maintenance: Ensure a safe working environment, comply with relevant regulations and laws, and implement maintenance and reliability programs to minimize equipment downtime.
7. Cost Management and Continuous Improvement: Control and reduce operational costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize processes and efficiency.
8. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback.
Required Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience specifically in operations management, production planning, and team leadership in a manufacturing environment.
3. Skills:
1) Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain management.
2) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
3) Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
4) Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
5) Crisis management
Preferred Qualifications
o B.tech / M.tech
o Experience in the modular furniture industry is a plus
o Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent
Compensation and Benefits
o Salary: ?40,000 to ?60,000 per month.
o Car Allowance: ?15/Km and for Bike ?4/Km for business purpose

o Reports to the Operations Manager.

Performance Evaluation
o First 3 days: Initial orientation and understanding of company policies and production processes
o 3rd week: Review of initial production plans and strategies.
o 3rd month: Comprehensive performance review based on production efficiency, cost optimization, and overall contribution to operations management.
