Job Description

Automation technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated systems in industrial settings. These systems are used to streamline production processes or otherwise improve efficiency. Automation technicians may also be called upon to troubleshoot problems with these systems when they break down.

Automation technicians typically work on a team with other technicians, engineers, and managers. They commonly provide technical support to plant operators and other workers who use the equipment being maintained by automation technicians.
