Job Description
Interviewing clients to gather information about their claims, including details about the accident or incident that caused the damage
Reviewing and analyzing medical records and bills to ensure that they are accurate and appropriate for the claim at hand
Communicating with insurance companies on behalf of clients to help resolve claims issues
Preparing settlement offers based on estimates of damages to be paid by insurance companies for claims
Explaining legal terms and processes to clients in layman’s terms so that they can make informed decisions about their case
Handling daily operations of the claims department, such as tracking paperwork, filing claims with insurance companies, and communicating with lawyers, clients, and other parties involved in a claim
Coordinating with doctors, clinics, hospitals, chiropractors, and other medical professionals to ensure that clients receive proper care during their injury recovery process
Preparing detailed reports of findings and conclusions based on research and investigation into a client’s claim
Maintaining contact with clients throughout the duration of the case, updating them on progress and answering any questions they may have
