Electrical Engineer – MEP and Design We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer – MEP with experience in hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, and Navisworks to handle the design, coordination, and execution of electrical systems in Airport Infrastructure Projects. The role involves working on Airport Equipment and MRO Hangar and infrastructure developments, ensuring all electrical works comply with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in MEP systems, site experience, and the ability to coordinate and design expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, and Navisworks. • Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems. • Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing. • Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings. • Prepare detailed electrical drawings including, Power distribution layouts, Cable routing and tray layouts, Earthing and lightning protection drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Panel board layouts and schematics. • Develop and modify 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM platforms. • Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks. • Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery. • Supervise on-site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. • Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC) and international standards. • Review material submittals, technical datasheets, and method statements. • Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. • Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings.
