Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our finance department as a Hotel Follow-Up for VAT Documentation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating with hotels to ensure accurate VAT documentation and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VAT regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
1. VAT Documentation Management:
Coordinate with hotels to obtain accurate VAT invoices and supporting documentation.
Review and verify VAT invoices for compliance with applicable regulations.
Maintain organized records of VAT documentation, ensuring proper filing and retrieval.
Identify and rectify any discrepancies or issues in VAT documentation.
2. Communication and Follow-Up:
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with hotels and internal stakeholders.
Follow up with hotels to obtain missing or incomplete VAT documentation.
Resolve queries or issues related to VAT invoices and documentation in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounts Payable and Procurement, to gather necessary information for VAT documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
· Previous experience in VAT documentation management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
