Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Industrial Sales Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of industrial products within a designated territory. The role involves understanding client needs, providing technical solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Industrial Sales Engineer will collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of our business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Understand client requirements and provide technical solutions based on our industrial products.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to enhance the company's competitive position.
Product Knowledge:
Possess in-depth knowledge of industrial products and their applications.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for clients.
Quotation and Proposal Generation:
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for clients.
Create detailed proposals outlining technical specifications, pricing, and delivery terms.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to clients before and after the sale.
Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries and concerns.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Monitor sales trends, analyze data, and generate regular reports.
Forecast sales targets and track performance against goals.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Utilize market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with the marketing, production, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate customer feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in industrial sales or a technical sales role.
Strong technical aptitude and understanding of industrial products.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
