Job Description

Job Purpose : To provide estimated cost of the projects by collecting the data and analysing.
To take out quantities and prepare BOQs.
Key Responsibilities :
? Receive the enquiries from sales coordination/Sales team and accurately study the
drawing.
Evaluate scope of work and other factors that impact the cost.
? Visit sites/clients for job brief and measurements.
? Liaising with CNC machine operators to estimate the machine time required.
? Quantity take offs for preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
? Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for material, labour, equipment,
subcontracts etc. and share the same with the operations manager for quotations.
? Ensure submissions of proposals as per the deadline.
? Sourcing for subcontractors as required.
? Sharing estimates/BOQs with design, procurement, and stores to enable them to carry
on their tasks.
? Physical inspection of podium units that require refurbishment to plan their cost.
? Revise estimates to incorporate revisions in design, specification, variation etc.
? Tracking all the inquiries and estimates submitted and presenting a weekly report to the
line manager/management.
? Constantly evolving technical skills by having a better understanding of the drawing and
related production issues.
? Contribute towards new approaches and innovative ideas for improved productivity,
quality and suggest alternative material to reduce cost.
? Ensure cooperation within the team.
? Ensure interdepartmental cooperation by proactively identifying problems and finding
solutions for the same in coordination with your line manager/management.
? Work in shifts and group companies as required.
? Adhering to company’s policies & procedures, rules and regulations.
? Carrying out any additional task as and when assigned by the line
manager/management.
Min Qualification/ Skill Sets :
? Degree/Diploma in Engineering.
? 2-3 yrs. experience as an estimator in an advertising industry/production house,
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to resolve problems and provide acceptable solutions
? KSA D/L will be an advantage.
Terms :
? Employment Contract - 2 years
? Working hours - 10 hours (1 hour lunch break), Friday holiday
? Accommodation, transportation and Medical insurance - Will be provided by the client
? Food - Will be managed by candidates
? Leave benefits - 21 days leave per year as per SAUDI law (Leave salary will be paid
upon return of annual leave)
? Iqama - Provided by sponsor
? Joining Ticket - One way joining ticket up to SAR 800
CFC = 500 + Medical + Visa stamping cost extra
