Job Description

Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships
with assigned key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying growth
opportunities, and driving revenue growth. KAMs work closely with cross-functional
teams and collaborate with clients to achieve their business objectives through strategic
account planning and execution.
This role would be a great fit for sales professionals, account managers, or customer
success managers who are passionate about digital commerce or retail, and are eager
to leverage their experience and knowledge to drive value for world-leading brands in
their e commerce initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts, acting
as the main point of contact for clients
2. Develop a deep understanding of client needs, goals, and pain points to
provide tailored ecommerce solutions
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of
projects and services to key clients
4. Conduct regular business review meetings to assess account performance,
identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and address any client
concerns
5. Achieve revenue growth targets by identifying upsell and cross-sell
opportunities within key accounts
6. Monitor client satisfaction, proactively address client issues, and collaborate
with internal teams to devise solutions
7. Contribute to sales efforts by managing incoming qualified opportunities and
closing deals with the assistance of presales team
Desired Skills and Experience
1. Minimum of 8-10 years of overall industry experience in Sales or Account
Management with at least about 3 years of experience in the digital commerce or
retail technology domain
2. Proven track record of managing and growing high-value client accounts
3. Good understanding of digital commerce business, platforms, and technologies
4. Experience working with retail clients and understanding of omnichannel
commerce
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
6. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
7. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
9. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
and prioritize effectively
10. Certification in relevant areas is an added advantage
