Mechanical Engineer – Key Responsibilities
Focus: Mechanical systems beyond HVAC
Core Duties:
Design and maintenance of mechanical systems:
Pumps (booster pumps, transfer pumps)
Plumbing systems (water supply, drainage)
Firefighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants)
Equipment selection and installation supervision
Preventive and corrective maintenance planning
Root cause analysis of equipment failures
Vendor coordination and technical evaluation of quotations
Ensuring safety standards and compliance
Daily Work:
Inspect pumps, motors, piping systems
Monitor pressure, flow rates, and system performance
Handle mechanical breakdowns
Review BOQs and technical specs
