Job Description

Electric motor winders typically work on a variety of equipment, ranging from electric vehicle motors to generators. Their duties include working to rewind and produce coils, replacing and preparing components, such as the stator core for winding or the wound motor for dipping. They maintain and repair other electromechanical and electromagnetic equipment, and their duties may be designated according to the motor part wound as Armature Winder, Rotor Winder, or Stator Winder.
