Job Description:
? Assist in overseeing and coordinating various operational functions within the
organization.
? Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for process
improvement.
? Understand and apply knowledge of loan products and services offered by the company.
? Comprehend and calculate loan interest based on various lending products.
? Ensure accurate interest calculation, including compounding and amortization methods.
? Recruit, train, and supervise departmental staff and provide guidance, support, and
performance feedback to maintain a high-performing team.
? Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures and guidelines.
? Assist in managing resources, including budget, personnel, and equipment, to ensure
optimal utilization.
? Work closely with the Director in executing operational strategies aligned with the
organization's objectives.
? Identify and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer
service.
? Help establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
? Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, licenses, and industry guidelines.
? Assist in identifying and mitigating potential operational risks.
? Generate operational reports and present findings and recommendations to the
Director.
? Maintain awareness of the company's IT systems, software, and tools.
? Provide technical support to colleagues and clients as required and Resolve common IT
issues or escalate to the IT department when necessary.
? Perform any related tasks as required.
Requirements:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field (preferred).
? Proven experience in a management role, including staff supervision.
? Strong IT skills with the ability to provide technical support is an advantage.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
? Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Contract period: 4 years
2. Accommodation: One bedroom in a shared accommodation with basic furnishings.
Utilities and other expenses will be the sole responsibility of the employee.
3. Transportation: Free transportation to and from work and on off days.
4. Medical insurance: As per medical insurance policy, including an evacuation component
in case the employee contracts illnesses not treatable locally, and any deductibles
levied by the insurance company (currently 20% excess) will be the responsibility of the
employee.
5. Tickets: Free airfare from point of origin to PNG and back after the completion of
contract.
6. Holidays/Leave Pay: Entitled to six weeks of holiday / leave payments after completion
of two years of continuous and satisfactory service including free airfare.
7. Food allowance: USD 80 per month
