Job Description

Plan, Prepare, Control, and Initiate all the activities of Planning and for each and every awarded job by a detailed analysis and study of project specifications; handling manpower and equipment resourcing to the sites, calculate variance analysis, risk analysis, cost analysis, time implications for all the jobs ensuring all the quality assurances set and followed by the company.
• Responsible for overall planning of project upon award of job which includes right from studying and understanding the overall scope of the project through submitted tender, selection of manpower, determining assets requirements, Materials and support in preparation of project Budget
• Participate in preparation of project budget in coordination with Site Planner , Project Manager and Project Director.
• Responsible for the selection of Manpower based on Project requirements and availability of resources within Unit
• Coordinate with plant coordinator for allocation of plant and equipment as per projection and ensure availability of fleet as per rolling projection
• Review of staff deployment (staffing) as per Business plan month-wise, provide data for monthly projection and actual
• Review and deployment of resources to projects based on requirements in coordination with site term. Coordinate with HR for allocation of workers as per projection, ensure availability of resources as per rolling projection
• Responsible for submitting the unit monthly reports to Management- Manpower projection system (MPS) for the Unit based on projects requirement category-wise, Equipment projection system (EPS) for the Unit based on project requirement
• Accountable for submission of fact sheets (a single page report on project progress) on a monthly basis to Management based on financial details from Accounts and site progress details
• Prepare documents for monthly progress review/ presentations to Management
• Review project progress of major jobs on a monthly basis and initiate recruitment s/ hire/ transfers of resources based on requirements. Monitor and review Business plans/ Schedules through monthly projections and schedule updation
• To calculate the impact or effect of job delays and hindrances on project completion and intimate the client engineer regarding time and cost impact
• Prepare and communicate for monthly delays and impact of cost and time implications on the project to ensure all necessary data and information to be given to the client/consultant for decision making purpose
• Review the project progress by conducting critical Path Analysis, producing Dash Boards and providing necessary support to Planning and Cost-control manager in decision making
