Define QA strategy, approach and execution of QA standards across all projects.
Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation, Quality Assurance Practice, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams
End to end accountability for all testing projects
Ensuring that the QA teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices as defined.
Focus on continuous improvements within QA Practice
Ensuring visibility, traceability, and control of the testing process to deliver high- quality software
Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, defect leakage and root cause analysis.
Interact effectively with business and technical stakeholders for requirement clarifications
Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices.
Define and present testing metrics and reports to all stakeholders.
Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.
Work with QA managers, Project managers and Delivery Managers and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
Provide thought leadership, create market positioning for the practice by showcasing the capabilities in external forums and with analyst community
Responsible for Digital Testing Pre-sales activities such as technical consulting, participate in RFI/RFP and contribute in estimation, methodology, proposal solution and process definition
Effective risk management
Drive innovations and initiatives for cost optimization
Key Skills
A strong leader with proven track record of building QA teams and experience in implementing and shaping the company’s QA processes and strategies.
Experience managing testing departments or testing functions, managing large and complex activities and processes for at least five years by diligently applying QA principles and practices.
Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
Strong management capability, leadership skills and supervisory oversight to quality assurance
Must have experience leading teams that involves in Performance Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing and System Testing
Developed best practices and procedures to be used by the entire team which spanned various projects
Must have hands on experience in strategize, plan, implement quality assurance initiatives and independent testing projects execution are essential.
Experience of working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Excellent communication, Presentation, Reporting, mentoring and customer facing skills to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly
Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risked Based Testing.
Innovative and ability to think outside the box for creative problem solving
Comfortable working in cross functional and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to see the big picture and ability to work in a team
Ability to multi-task and a keen eye for logical and critical thinking
Able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best out of each individual.

Eligibility
Having 10+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy
At least one Industry recognized certification in Quality Assurance
