Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a solid background in managing IoT projects within government sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of overall experience in project management, with at least 4 years specifically dedicated to leading IoT initiatives in governmental environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage complex projects, adhere to regulatory requirements, and drive innovative solutions in IoT technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage end-to-end IoT projects within the government sector, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identify and resolve issues to ensure successful project delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Communicate project status updates, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and government policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members.
• Evaluate project outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in IoT technologies and government policies.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with demonstrated success in managing large-scale projects from initiation to closure.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience specifically in managing IoT projects within governmental sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project requirements effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in risk management, budget management, and resource allocation.
• Deep understanding of IoT technologies, protocols, and applications within the context of government operations.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to achieving project goals and delivering high-quality results.
