Job Description

To co-ordinate with shop for daily stage wise Inspection as per ITP and ensure required NDT are conducted as per weld Map and ITP. Coordination with TPIA, A.I and Client Inspection Representative for day to day Inspection. Understanding Project Specification and job requirement and ensure same is followed in the shop shall also be part of responsibility. To be proactive in determining the wrong work practice and violation of Quality standards. Should closely coordinate with QC Engineer and Lead QC Engineer and production department for smooth implementation of Quality system and ensure jobs are conducted as per Codes, Specification and standards. Require to maintain a very good interpersonal relationship with external agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Day to Day shop Inspection.
Ensure Jobs are manufactured as per ITP, Weld map and other applicable standards.
Coordination with NDE to ensure stage wise NDE is conducted.
Ensure Preparation of report on time and updating dossier progressively.
Coordination with TPI or Client for Clearing stage inspection.
Coordination with QC Engineer or Lead QC engineer.

Qualifications & Years of Experience:
Diploma In Mechanical Engineer with 6 Years of Experience In the Inspection of Pressure Vessel , Heat Exchanger and other Process Plant

Key Skills:
Should be able to coordinate daily inspection requirement at shop Floor.
Shall also coordinate with Inter department for NDE and external agencies for day to day Inspection.
Shall be able to conduct Inspection independently, including coordination with external agencies.
Shall have knowledge of ASME SEC—VIII- Div-1 & 2 with associated Codes and Standards.
Shall be able to work under pressure.
Also responsibility includes Physical Inspection at shop and open yard in climatic condition of Saudi Arabia.
