Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring fire safety compliance and promoting a safe working environment through effective fire prevention strategies and training.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain fire safety policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct regular fire safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
Monitor and ensure the proper use of fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
Investigate fire incidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
Organize and conduct fire safety training and drills for employees, ensuring awareness of emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports.
Liaise with local fire authorities and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations.
Promote a culture of fire safety awareness through communication and engagement with all staff.
