Job Description
The Sales Executive is responsible for the sales of our books and meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential customers. They ensure that the customer is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase. Someone who has passion for
sales and growth.
At present, our main sales channels are via bookstores, approximately 110 in and around Kerala.
In the next few months we are launching pop up stores.
Our aim is to increase our online sales and activities on social media.
The candidate will be either handling offline, online, or direct sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Crucial that the candidate has a passion for books and literature in general and reads frequently.
Great if he/she has an interest in Scandinavian literature.
• Incharges of our books sales and operations across the state of Kerala
• Key point of contact to book stores in Kerala.
• Maintain a good relation with key people in the book sellers/retailers.
• Maintaining relationships with all potential and existing clients by providing support, information and guidance
• Should have high energy level, Creativity, Sales planning, Motivation for sales
• Analyze sales reports to find opportunities, recognize routine problems; analyze causes and recommend solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Networking and relationship management
• Clear communication and negotiation skills
• Self determination and resilience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION
Graduate Degree, preferable in business/marketing.
• 2-3 years of sales/business development experience
