Job Description
Responsible for running and managing projects and leading a team of contractors and workers of their projects by ensuring timely deliverables to accomplish the customer’s need and satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Proper planning of every work and get them done, by proper coordination with team members, contractors and workers - which means discipline determination how and when the work will be performed. Report to HP about work status and consolidated reports of contractors / workers on weekly basis.
2. Prepare Rate Analysis as per budget quotation and provide MRP to HP for verification.
3. Study drawings, specification and prepare Orientation and submit to HP. Capacity to run multiple projects at the same time and see the projects moves as per the orientation.
4. Maintain Site book, M Book, Site Store book, Site file and report the same to HP.
5. Maintain Daily Progress Report every day and hand over to HP regularly without fail. Make sure that site photos are uploaded daily in whatsapp group and the same to share by Project Co into the concerned client group.
6. Provide weekly reports to Project Coordinator on every Saturday before 8:15 am so that Project Coordinator can send report to clients on Monday before 09 am.
7. Obtain the equipment and supplies necessary to complete the project, find place to store it and implement a method for tracking inventory (Site stock). Keeping cost within budget, ensure procurement of materials take place without losing major time and ensuring maximum profit.
8. Time bound is set specifically to attain the key goal. Period of time is important because of the construction contract often includes penalty clauses in the event the project runs late as Time indeed is money.
9. Take part in the weekly site meeting with Client.
10. Regular site meetings with Contractors. Sourcing Sub contractors whenever required, with proper reporting agreements and eligibility to supervise these contractors.
11. Coordination with purchase department and contractors for the smooth running of the projects. Plan next day work at site in the previous day itself and raise Purchase Indent (before a week) if needed.
12. Estimate the quantity of material required for work well in advance and raise Purchase Indent. Maintain updated material record in site book and get it signed by HP
13. Inspect incoming material for quality and quantity and receive materials ONLY in the presence of the Site Engineer. Submit material confirmation/bills within 24 hrs from the same is received to Purchase Manager for further proceedings. In emergency case collect materials directly from the supplier after coordination with purchase dept.
14. In case of revision in drawings issued from studio, Site Engineer to ensure only final updated drawings are used in site file and collect all superseded drawings from client /sub-contractor and return back to studio.
15. Assist SA-QC team for maintain project quality and make sure site instruction form is closed within timeline and give report to HP Co / HP.
16. Submit self-evaluation report in time to PH
17. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time for the proper execution of the projects.
