Position Title: Solution Architect (IBS009)

Job Description

Gather and understand client requirements. Conduct design discussions and present designs to clients. Define the Project Roadmap for high level features. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including project maintenance, effort estimations, production support, troubleshooting and software testing. Responsible for analysis, design, development and documentation activities. Guide the internal teams to design web services application program interface (API). Review the code design and implementation plan, and develop deployment plan and server optimization plan. Conduct feature demos to showcase incremental feature delivery as committed. Coordinate release activities and support production issues. Handle the support queries and provide tools and techniques. Ensure features are deployed correctly and function as anticipated. Perform onsite and offshore coordination. Conduct daily standup meeting, sprint planning meeting, mid-sprint meeting, sprint retrospective meeting and technical envisioning meeting to adhere to the Agile principles followed by the company. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the job offered or a related IT or engineering role. Requires one (1) year of experience in the following: Using Java8 and J2EE for analysis of core application flows and functional behaviors; using RESTful Webservice and SOAP to monitor external Interfaces for applications; using Gradle and Maven to package and deploy applications; using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to monitor cloud based applications; and using Junit and Test NG to perform unit testing and integration testing. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related it or engineering role in lieu of a Master’s degree plus one (1) year of Experience in the job offered or a related it or engineering role.
