Job Description

Lead all aspects of systems development related to the applicable system
System Technical Specification development along with FMEA analysis will be fundamental aspects of the position
Implement new feature and functions related to the system
Create system interface drawings
Create and maintain applicable system/subsystem/component software specifications in IBM DOORS or DOORS Next Generation
Lead/participate in software peer reviews to ensure compliance to requirements
Model interface definition requirements that impacts serial data, diagnostics and service using IBM Rational Rhapsody
Work with the development team on functional subsystem allocation, signal connectivity, and controller deployment
Root cause all applicable system related issues
Communicates information to both internal and external customers
Ensure deliverables are complete as per milestones with excellence
Responsible for compliance with GM processes and safety procedures
